With you, our environmental commitment is simple, practical, and full of common sense.
Why buy from far away when wonderful local producers are right here?
We prioritize, whenever possible, short circuits and local sourcing. Giliane, Robin, and Thierry, all from Sarlat, supply us with foie gras, pâtés, goat cheese, walnuts, and walnut oil.
The Mas boutique only offers products from the Dordogne region.

Reducing food and household waste is also one of our commitments, along with responsible sorting.
Less glass and plastic are used, and reusable placemats are favored.
More and more of our cleaning products are Ecocert certified.

After equipping the hotel entirely with low-energy LED bulbs, we installed water flow reducers on all taps and showerheads in the bathrooms.

To meet the expectations of our guests, many of whom drive electric or hybrid vehicles, Mas de Castel provides two electric charging stations.
